History of the GOEARC ( Garden Of Eden Autism Retreat Center )
It was a summer day in 2010, In Guelph Ontario, a knock on the door at 9.30 pm. opened to see there were five police officers and four police vehicles outside. The police officer asked where your son was. The lady was in her nightgown puzzled with anguish. answer he was here in the living room I came back from my clinical exam in Calgary, and I went to sleep after family prayer my son was with the laptop.
The police superintendent asked the lady to get ready to see the medical doctor as they found the 8-year-old boy on the road. Mother’s hand automatically went up to the praying position and increased her anguish. A little while after Mother explained about the day the police showed her the ambulance parked in the driveway and asked her to see her son. son was singing a gospel song and holding a brown teddy bear with a female paramedic. That day this mother (farm animal veterinarian) decided not to go again for her professional exam and or internship work in Ontario. She started going to the night school getting her certification in Cognitive science development psychology and working with her son.
In 2012 after she completed her ADB certification and other certifications with Geneva Center Toronto Ontario. she started working with Dr Temple Grandin https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Temple_Grandin. Temple Grandin became her mentor. She did Advanced brain technology certification in the USA. After she got her small business certification in the YMCA in Toronto, she launched the Affordable autism solution IBI program writing for children. Most of her clients were professional parents’ children.
9 out of ten children who got her program were transitioned to regular classrooms when they were in grade 2 and grade 3. As she launched homeschooling for her son, she had no time to write programs for other children. She full-time work with her son. Taking the son for swimming lessons skating and horseback riding (out of the city) speech therapy, occupational therapy, oxygen therapy rock climbing arranging social skills events, and summer camping.
Then she felt the needs of the caregivers of special needs children and youth as well as adults she launched the Retreat for individual parents. Work has been formulated and extended to other countries, Sri Lanka India, and Zimbabwe she helps those parents on Zoom In 2022 she was able to get the charity status for the work she has been doing.

PREVALENCE OF AUTISM
We are in the new phase at the Garden of Eden Autism retreat center in Toronto. Diagnosis of autism has been increasing at a higher rate.
Estimates from CDC’s Autism and Developmental Disabilities Monitoring (ADDM) Network Autism Statistics & Rates in 2023 (1 in 36 Children Identified with ASD) The autism rate increasing: One assumption is that autism rates are increasing due to the recent increase in general awareness, accessibility, and understanding of autism spectrum disorder. By having a better understanding of autism, parents and professionals can assess and evaluate whether to pursue a diagnosis. This also involves the public health systems prioritizing and funding autism related resources making this process more accessible and affordable for families.
